Callie Stephens, MSW
School Program Specialist
After earning both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Oklahoma, Callie joined Teach for America as an Elementary Education teacher in Dallas, Texas. It was here that Callie learned how life changing an enriching education and safe environment can be for a child. Upon completing her two-year service agreement, Callie relocated back home to Oklahoma and continued her non-profit career with the American Red Cross.
During her time at the American Red Cross, Callie worked in Volunteer Services and Community Outreach until joining American Red Cross National Headquarters’ team as a companywide Learning and Development Specialist. Fueled by her passion for opening doors for children through education, Callie returned to the field as a Community Outreach Coordinator for the Oklahoma City Public Schools Foundation. Callie has been fortunate to serve children and families for almost a decade bringing with her a deep sense of commitment to invest in her community.
