Kaylen Herndon
Program Specialist
Kaylen Herndon is an aspiring mental health professional currently pursuing her graduate degree in Counseling Psychology at the University of Central Oklahoma. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Oklahoma Christian University in the spring of 2025.
Over the years, Kaylen has spent lots of time working with children in school and camp settings. This work and her passion for mental healthcare have led her to Peaceful Family Oklahoma where she is currently a program specialist. As a past intern for Peaceful Family Oklahoma, Kaylen was able to be a part of the programs that Peaceful Family has to offer and see their life-changing effects in action.

After completing her graduate degree, Kaylen plans to become a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Oklahoma. She is especially passionate about providing equal access to essential mental health resources for individuals of all backgrounds and looks forward to further pursuing that passion through her work at Peaceful Family Oklahoma.
