Kaylen Herndon
Program Assistant
Kaylen Herndon is an aspiring mental health professional currently pursuing her undergraduate degree in psychology at Oklahoma Christian University. Over the years, Kaylen has spent lots of time working with children in school and camp settings. This work and her passion for mental healthcare have led her to Peaceful Family Oklahoma where she is currently a program assistant. As a past intern for Peaceful Family Oklahoma, Kaylen was able to be a part of the programs that Peaceful Family has to offer and see their life-changing effects in action.
After completing her undergraduate degree, Kaylen plans to further her education by obtaining a master’s degree in counseling psychology and eventually becoming an LPC in the state of Oklahoma. Kaylen is passionate about providing equal access to essential mental health resources for individuals of all backgrounds. She is looking forward to further pursuing that passion through her work at Peaceful Family Oklahoma.
