Taylor Vogel
School Program Manager
& Media Coordinator
After earning her Bachelor’s degree in Music Education from Oklahoma City University, Taylor began her career in Oklahoma City Public Schools, first teaching high school vocal music and piano at U.S. Grant before falling in love with shaping elementary music curriculum and teaching for two years at Heronville elementary. Her love of the natural world led her to teach (and hike) in Denver Public Schools for two years, where she focused on developing and implementing a joyful dual-language (English/Spanish) elementary music program focused on ensuring an equitable and exceptional music education that fostered communication skills, interpersonal skills, and critical thinking skills.
Taylor has been fortunate to serve Oklahoma students through her work as the Education Coordinator at the Oklahoma City Philharmonic and the students of North Texas through digital programming as the Director of Education for the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra. Her passions are teaching children to communicate and problem solve through guided play, connecting schools with high-caliber resources, and laughing wholeheartedly with anyone she's around.
