The nonprofit organization Peaceful Family Oklahoma offers a successful intervention program aimed at helping children living with addicted parents break the cycle of addiction and cope with their emotions. Through camps and therapy sessions, children learn healthy ways to deal with their feelings and understand the science of addiction, ultimately realizing they are not alone and cannot change or control their parents' addiction.
