Heal Out Loud 2025

On April 9, 2025, community members, advocates, and partners gathered at the Oklahoma City Golf & Country Club for the third annual Heal Out Loud Fundraising Luncheon & Award Celebration—a powerful afternoon dedicated to uplifting children impacted by addiction in their families.
This year, we were honored to recognize Oklahoma First Lady Sarah Stitt with the 2025 Heal Out Loud Award, celebrating her remarkable courage in sharing her own story and her visionary leadership in building systems of support across our state.

“You’re giving kids the voice that I didn’t have.”

— First Lady Sarah Stitt
First Lady Stitt’s lived experience growing up in a household affected by substance use has shaped her commitment to transforming Oklahoma’s approach to childhood trauma and mental health. Through Hope Rising Oklahoma, she’s helped bring the science of hope into schools, agencies, and communities. Her leadership in establishing a Pediatric Behavioral Health Center at Oklahoma Children’s Hospital reflects her dedication to ensuring families have access to life-changing care.

Her voice reminds us all: when we heal out loud, we invite others to do the same.

Why Heal Out Loud Matters

Each year, this event reminds us of the urgent need—and the immense possibility—for healing. One in four children in Oklahoma lives with addiction in their family. Without support, they are eight times more likely to experience addiction themselves.

At Peaceful Family Oklahoma, we believe in changing that future. Through trauma-informed camps, support groups, and peer-centered programs, we create safe spaces where children and teens can be heard, understood, and empowered.
We are deeply  grateful for our 2025 Heal Out Loud Award & Fundraising Luncheon sponsors.
