As the COVID-19 pandemic continues, at some level, nearly everyone is facing stressful times-- disconnected from friends, family, support systems and perhaps coping with financial, emotional or other issues. For families with substance use disorders and in recovery, these challenges are magnified.
Peaceful Family Solutions (PFS) has weighed how to continue to support our kids and families who need us now more than ever. As local treatment centers and programs have begun to reopen, PFS has resumed our Children’s Programs. PFS will follow CDC and OK State Department of Health guidelines for youth and day camps with enhanced social distancing, hygiene and sanitizing measures in place.

PFS will follow CDC and OK State Department of Health guidelines for youth and day camps with enhanced social distancing, hygiene and sanitizing measures in place.
If your child(ren) will participate, please be prepared that we will:
- Limit participation to 50% capacity to allow socially distanced seating for non-sibling groups.
- Reduce up to 99.9% of certain airborne viruses, bacteria and mold spores through the use of .03 microns air purifiers in communal spaces.
- Restrict parent/guardian participation to one per child, unless otherwise approved.
- Conduct daily health checks- temperature and symptom screening.
- Require symptomatic or sick participants to stay home.
- Have supplies to support frequent hand washing and hand sanitizing.
- Clean and disinfect our van and building.
- Not share supplies, objects, utensils or food.
- Require the use of face coverings in the building and van in compliance with City of Edmond declaration of emergency.
